Ex Maisha dancer, Shamim, is Apollo Katinti's wife

When Bobi Wine moved with his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi at some of his campaign trails, his rival Apollo Katinti was left with no choice, but to also show the voters his wife and it was none other than ex-Maisha dancer, Shamim Namawa.

Shamim was seen on her knees armed with the blue key soliciting for votes. Apollo Katinti is the official FDC candidate in the Kyadondo by-election that will be held on Jun 29. Former FDC leader, Dr. Kizza Besigye said that either way, whoever wins between Bobi Wine and Apollo Katinti, as FDC they will still be in business.

Apollo and Shamim have a child together. They have a son. It should be recalled that Shamim was Leila Kayondo's rival on SK Mbuga, but the fighting was way too much for her that she had to look elsewhere, she ended up with Hon. Katinti. As a wife to a Honourable, Shamim had to change her dress code.

Shamim used to move on Boda-Boda's, but when SK Mbuga was impressed with what he saw, he straight on bought her a Harrier only to be upgraded to a Merc by Apollo Katinti and that is how the loaded SK lost out.

Shamim is seen performing with Weasel on his birthday, then, he seemed to enjoy the moment. Just like Shamim, Weasel was also dating a one Carol based in Sweden at the time, but that affair was so short lived, he turned to Samira Tumi with whom they were blessed with a child only to part ways later.

Back to the Kyadondo by-elections, the polls will be held on Jun 29 and the candidates are Sitenda Sebalu of NRM, Apollo Katinti of FDC, Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi (Independent). Others include Muwada Nkunyingi and Sowedi Kayongo after DP's Lilian Babirye Kamoome pulled out.
