South African comedian, Trevor Noah, has eventually succumbed to pressure from Ugandans to come and visit the Pearl of Africa to explore all the attractions the country has to offer.
He will be here for the first ever 'Uganda-International Music and International Week' that is set to run between (Oct 29 and Nov 4, 2017) under the theme; "Exploring and Celebrating Uganda’s Cultural Diversity". The event will be showcasing Uganda's cultural diversity, music, food and poetry among others.
Trevor Noah, Chaka Demus and Pliers are some of the big names to headline the event being coordinated by comedian Patrick Idringi aka Salvador.
For some reason, Trevor Noah was not yet aware of all this, in fact, he just got to learn of all this through the various tweets of his photoshopped pics in Kampala under the hashtag #TrevorNoahVisitsUganda.
Using his Twitter account, he came out to clear the space; "This is a scam, I'm not coming to Uganda."
However, this did not stop the pics of Trevor in Kampala breaking the internet. One of them was Trevor behind the Kampala-Entebbe express highway but the one that caught his attention was the Rolex guy in Wandegeya.
"Ok Uganda, you win. I'll try to visit sometime. But when I land, Iwant the original rolex made by Sula in Wandegeya.
